Discovery Middle School - Feedback Friday

When teaching and learning shifted to the “at home” environment, Coffman and Evans developed Feedback Friday to evaluate student progress. Feedback Friday is a weekly slide show that is posted in Google Classroom. Students are asked questions about what they learned that week and they must provide some type of answers or summary of the week's lessons. The teachers also do some fun and informative polls to keep students engaged and to reinforce learning.

Coffman and Evans aren’t letting the quarantine diminish the level of instruction they provide their students, or their need to make sure students understand the concepts of their lessons. That’s good teaching, which has been a Discovery Middle School trademark for years.
