DOUBLEHEADER THIS WEEKEND AT LSG

OK.  So it isn’t really a doubleheader.  But it is two great events on two consecutive days -- actually within 24 hours -- which certainly should count.

On Friday evening from 6 to 9 there will be an opening reception at the Lawrence Street Gallery for new work by Sisters of the Brush:  In Case of Emergence – PAINT

The Sisters of the Brush is a small group of women artists, all from southeastern Michigan, who meet regularly to critique each others’ works, organize their group’s art shows, and, above all, support each other in their artistic endeavors.  Stop by on Friday evening and enjoy their work and their company.

The Baker’s Men takes place in and abound Ferndale, and Don has promised to read a section the includes the Lawrence Street Gallery.  How much fun is that.

Wine, cheese, and other refreshments will be served at both events as usual.  Just another benefit of supporting local artists.
