Espresso Elevado Quietly Opens on Main Street
The new coffee shop will feature high-end specialty espresso and bakery goods.
, a new coffee shop and micro-roastery, quietly opened its doors Thursday in Plymouth.
Owner Teresa Pilarz said setbacks throughout the week before opening day led her to keep the big day somewhat under wraps, but she is planning a grand opening in late March.
Despite the quiet opening, Pilarz said she has already seen a steady trickle of customers Thursday and Friday and received positive feedback.

Pilarz said she has been working on the business concept for years and that she was waiting for the "right place" when the building on the corner of Main and Wing unexpectedly opened up.
The 1,000-square-foot building was occupied by grocer due to low sales.

Pilarz thinks her business will be a great fit for downtown Plymouth because of its unique concept.
"There are no other retail roasters in town," she said. "I think of it having the same caliber of a fine wine place, where people can come in and learn about coffee."
The store sells coffee beans and also serves espresso, coffee drinks and pastries. She has partnered with another local Plymouth business, , and is selling some of its handmade biscotti.
Pilarz has been working in the coffee business since 1994, but this is her first venture as owner of a coffee shop.
