The Blue Water Ramblers present their songs of love and life in Michigan from French times in old de Troit to their last road trip across the Big Mac - lake shanties, lumbermen ballads, union rallying cries, farmers' paeons, love songs, gospel and highway driving music. They even have tuneful sing-alongs on political economics! The styles of their songs range from the spare, old time sound of Appalachian fiddle tunes to modern folk to bluegrass to country and even a taste of 'rack 'n' roll' as Banjo-Jim calls it. Instrumentation includes acoustic and Gypsy guitars, bluegrass and electric banjos regular and octave mandolins and mouth harp. Read more at BlueWater Ramblers.com
