Lowe's offers their free Build and Grow Workshop for kids on Saturday mornings. Today's project is a wooden Train Engine. After hammering it together, children get to see it roll with working wheels, and cool decals they get to put on.
Children who attend receive the project free, a merit patch, apron, certificate and safety goggles. Children should be at least 3 years of age and parents need to participate. Since supplies are limited it is best if you register online.
