'No Room at the Inn'

St. John Neumann is home to an exhibit, "No Room at the Inn," a depiction of the first Christmas story, illustrated by a large private collection of Nativity sets.

The purpose is to reflect on and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas by focusing on the humble birth of Jesus, and on helping those for whom there is also “No Room at the Inn": the homeless. The idea began more than 20 years ago when a small group of friends wanted to share their nativity collections to raise money for the homeless in their community.

Viewing times are as follows:

  • Dec. 3: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and 5:30-7 p.m.
  • Dec. 4: After each morning Mass, from 1:30-4:30 p.m., and after the evening Mass. (Sunday Masses are celebrated at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m., and 12:30 and 5:30 p.m.)

Suggested donation is $5 for adults/ $1 for children

All proceeds benefit the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Event is hosted by the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians and St. John Neumann Parish.
