Saturdays@the Penn - Family Variety Show

The Plymouth Community Arts Council and the Plymouth Canton Symphony Society will bring the teenage fiddling trio “Cats & the Fiddler” , along with musical host Guy Louis to Plymouth on Saturday, March 5thth.  This performance is the final show in the “Saturdays@the Penn” series for the 2010-11 season.  These programs are offered starting at 11:30 am on selected Saturdays at the Penn Theater.  Cost is $5.00 per person.  Doors open at 11:05.  Tickets are available at the door, or in advance by calling the PCAC at 734-416-4278.  Groups, Birthday Parties and Scout groups are encouraged to attend.  Discounts are available for groups of 12 or more.

About the special guest performers, Cats & the Fiddler:  This amazing trio featuring Carmen Gibes, James Richardson, and Shaun Richardson each now 14 years old, consistently amazes audiences throughout Michigan and beyond with their unique style of bluegrass. Since their debut Cats and the Fiddler have appeared at hundreds of venues alongside IBMA award-winning bluegrass bands such as Rhonda Vincent and the Rage, Cherryholmes, and Dailey and Vincent. They have also performed on the nationally syndicated Mitch Albom Show as well as numerous local radio shows.

Also featured on March 5th will be perennial kid favorite and Saturdays@the Penn Host Guy Louis, Chautauqua Express.  Guy’s performances focus on community and celebration, with active participation that delights all ages, grandparents to toddlers and everyone in between.
