Spotlight Players present "Once Upon a Mattress"

This lighthearted musical is an adaptation of the fairy tale "The Princess and the Pea" takes place in a fictional medieval kingdom. Due to an unhappy curse, King Sextimus is unable to speak and the land is ruled by the devious Queen Aggravain. In an attempt to keep Prince Dauntless at home, the Queen has decreed that only the princess who can pass her test will be worthy of marrying her son. Further, no one else in the kingdom may marry until Prince Dauntless is wed.
