Join the Friends of the I-275 Metro Trail for a trail work day on Thursday night, August 30th. As we’re losing daylight, the time of the cleanup has been moved up to 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm. This time we’ll be beating back the brush on the Plymouth Township section of trail that parallels the I-275/M-14 connector ramp. Meet us on the trail or in the parking lot at Lake Pointe Soccer Park on Haggerty north of Schoolcraft. Bring clippers, pruners, loppers, scythes/sickles, rakes, brooms and anything else that would be helpful for trimming the brush. Make sure to wear protective eye wear, work gloves, long pants and a long-sleeved shirt; poison ivy is always a concern. Water and light snacks will be provided.
