On Friday the Detroit Conservation Leadership Corps (CLC) participated in a Professional Development Day at the . Automotive Experience location in Plymouth, according to a news release.  CLC is made up of 70 Detroit high school students who are participating in a green summer jobs program created and sponsored by Johnson Controls, Inc. in partnership with Student Conservation Association and the Greening of Detroit, the news release said.  At the Professional Development Day the CLC students were provided with information on the importance of sustainability, energy efficiency and renewable resources in the fields of automotive interior design and engineering, building efficiency and hybrid battery technology, the news release said.
