The Plymouth Whalers play on the road on Tuesday, Sept. 10. But they won't be using sticks, skates or pucks.
The Whalers will be appearing at Destiny Games in Canton on Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 4-8 pm as they put their video skills to work in the relaunch of EA Sports' NHL 14.

If you are new to the EA Sports NHL series, the Canadian Hockey League has been part of the EA Sports NHL series for about five years. Gamers can match the Whalers against the Windsor Spitfires, the Western Hockey League Portland Winterhawks, or the Quebec Major Junior League's Halifax Mooseheads.
The various CHL uniforms, crests and lettering are realistic and gamers can play CHL teams in rinks like the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium, Sudbury Community Arena or Compuware Arena.
Canada's Financial Post offers a review of NHL 14, calling it "the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be (until next year)."
