Sights and Sounds: Late Field Goal Pushes Canton Past Plymouth in Division 1 Playoffs
Chiefs advance in Division 1 playoffs; Wildcats' season ends in tightly contested rematch of Oct. 7 game.
A tightly contested game between cross-campus rivals and — the teams' second meeting this month — again came down to the waning seconds and a clutch field goal.
This time it was the Chiefs coming out on top with a 36-yard field goal by junior kicker Scott Piwowar for a 24-21 Canton win in the first round of Division 1 playoffs.
Plymouth ends its season at 8-2 while Canton (8-2) continues its season against an opponent to be determined.
