Police said in the news release Al-Aboosi lured the victim with “a job offer to clean homes.”

They met in Dearborn in the area of Ford Road and Telegraph on April 12, Wilsher told the TV station, and then Al-Aboosi drove her to the vacant house near Lilley and Warren.

After the woman escaped, Al-Aboosi allegedly fled, but police tracked him down in Dearborn three hours later.

Al-Aboosi pleaded not guilty to the charges, police said. His bond was set at $150,000/10 percent during his arraignment, and a probable cause hearing was set for April 29.

Canton police said the incident should serve as a reminder “not to get into vehicles if you don't know somebody or don't know where you are going.”

“You don't know the intent of the person driving that vehicle or picking you up,” police said.
