Northville's Historical Cemetery Walk Scheduled for October 12th
All proceeds from this year's event will be donated to Northville's Civic Concern and to purchase a Historical Marker.
Northville’s Historic Oakwood Cemetery comes alive this year with all new historical figures. Join us as we dig deep into the lives of some of the exceptional inhabitants who are buried there. Watch and listen as you are introduced to characters such as; a Revolutionary War Veteran, A Civil War Solder, a historic member of the Michigan House of Representatives, A member of the infamous Underground Railroad. You will hear stories from former Pastors of Northville’s historic First Baptist Church as well as local doctors and many more… You will not want to miss this exciting event. Tours will be timed at 20 minute intervals. Oakwood Cemetery is located on West Cady between Wing and Rogers. Tickets are priced at $10.00 for adults (children 17 and under that are accompanied by an adult are free. This event is sponsored by; the Historic First Baptist Church of Northville.
