P-CCS Home Learning Highlight For Monday
Gallimore Elementary teachers and students have really embraced at-home education.
Home Learning Highlight for June 8, 2020
Gallimore Elementary
Gallimore Elementary teachers and students have really embraced at-home education. Of course they miss seeing each other in person, but the Roadrunners have quickly adapted to new learning methods so they could keep growing and connecting.
Collaboration is a big part of Gallimore at home learning. Mrs. Jewett’s third graders joined Mr. Anderson’s fifth grade class for a shared read aloud project. In addition, all of the third grade teachers worked together on lessons that served all 90 of their students.

Interesting projects at different grade levels include integer bingo, animal adaptations research, a virtual author visit, poetry notebooks and class challenges focused on Math Escape Rooms and Breakout Boxes. These are just a few of the methods employed by Gallimore teachers to keep learning lively and engaging.
The Gallimore Home Learning video (1 min.) tells the story better than words can.
