P-CCS Students To Take CogAT Assessment Remotely
This year students will be taking the CogAT assessment remotely.
This year students will be taking the CogAT assessment remotely. The assessment will be led by a P-CCS proctor, but students will be logging in at home to take this test. This will require that families have a dedicated desktop, laptop or Chromebook that their child can use on his/her scheduled testing date. If families do not have a dedicated device for their child to use they can indicate this when they complete the “Opt In” Google Form.
Third through seventh grade students will be assigned a single testing session between June 11 - June 16, 2020. Each session is scheduled for three hours: AM session 8:30 to 11:30 a.m and PM session 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Second grade students will be tested between June 17th and June 24th. Due to the length of the assessment, each second grader will be assigned two testing sessions. We have found that breaking the assessment into two smaller sessions is more appropriate for the age level of our second graders. Each session is scheduled for three hours: AM session 8:30 to 11:30 a.m and PM session 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
The families of qualifying students will be notified via email on Tuesday, May 26th of their child’s eligibility to take the CogAT. These families will be invited to complete an “Opt In” Google Form that must be completed by Wednesday, June 3rd at noon. Testing session date(s) and time(s) will be emailed to families by Friday, June 12th.
