Home Learning Highlight for May 19, 2020

Plymouth-Canton Educational Park students in Ann Espinoza and Lindsey Pignatiello’s beginning, intermediate and advanced photography classes showed some real creativity on a recent home learning assignment about forced perspective. These students, in grades nine through 12, were offered videos and text about perspective and the camera techniques needed to make objects appear different in size.

Forced perspective is a technique that employs optical illusions to make objects appear further away, closer, larger or smaller than they actually are. It is used primarily in photography, film making and architecture.

Just take a look at what happens when students use their skill and imagination to create some impressive images.
