Royal Oak Rib Fest
A FREE event downtown Royal Oak that the whole family can enjoy this 4th of July weekend!
The Royal Oak Rib, Beer & Music Fest will be held Friday-Sunday, July 3-5th at the Royal Oak Farmers Market in Downtown Royal Oak. As the name implies, there will be an unparalleled selection of ribs and barbeque offered as well as a variety of craft beers and full bar service to compliment the live music. Admission to this family friendly event is FREE all weekend with multiple stages of music, dozens of food vendors, a rib cook off, kid’s zone, and more!
Barbeque by Chicken Shack, Old Carolina BBQ, Stonewood Smokehouse, Smoke Ring BBQ, Taste N Tell BBQ, Rub Pub BBQ, Big Mo’s BBQ, Dobo’s Bayou Billy BBQ, Detroit BBQ, and Walter’s Kitchen BBQ and Jackson’s Five Star Catering.
With a list of bands as long as the vendors, RibFest presents a carefully-crafted weekend musical lineup. Multiple stages will feature some of the state’s most impressive local talent from Thornetta Davis to the Howling Diablos, The Muggs, The Beggars, The Infatuations, Goober &The Peas, and more.

RibFest is family-friendly with loads of fun for all ages at the kids zone. Kids will have action-packed hours of entertainment with monster truck rides, bounce houses, kid’s karaoke, side-walk chalk, magic, and what Fourth of July event would be complete without pig races?! All of this and more will be experienced this Fourth of July weekend.
