The Ives of March

The Michigan Philharmonic brings together orchestra and chorus featuring the Plymouth Oratorio Society.  The concert title eludes to the reflective Symphony No. 3 by Charles Ives.  The chorus joins the orchestra on Dvorak's "Te Deum" - one of the most joyful pieces of music ever written and the tumultuous choruses from Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" which features music heard on numerous commericals, movies and even Monday Night Football!
