Tim Baechler Named New Assistant Principal Of Activities And Athletics At Salem High School
The longtime physical education and English language arts instructor has been teaching and coaching at P-CEP for more than 20 years.
Tim Baechler knows how to build a team and make it successful. He spent most of the past 20 years transforming Canton High School’s Varsity Football team into a State of Michigan powerhouse. Bechler will now move across the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park to Salem High School as the new Assistant Principal of Activities and Athletics.
The longtime Physical Education and English Language Arts instructor has been teaching and coaching at P-CEP for more than 20 years. In his new role he will lead student clubs and organizations and athletics at Salem High School. He also has taught and coached at Onsted High School, White Pigeon High School and at Hudson Middle School.

Baechler earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English and played football at Adrian College. He also has a Master’s Degree from Easten Michigan University in Educational Leadership.
