Top Job in America Openings Close to Plymouth-Canton

Some of the hottest jobs in America are in information technology. Ranking the top 100 jobs in the country for 2015, CNN Money said software architect came in at No. 1 in terms of job growth, pay and satisfying work.

According to data gleaned from PayScale.com, median pay is around $124,000, topping out at $169,000 for those in the field for five or seven years. Job growth is projected at 23 percent over the next decade.

Software architects surveyed gave their jobs an “A” in personal satisfaction, telecommuting opportunities and stress, and a “B” in the benefit to society.

One thing those surveyed noted was diversity in their work days as new problems and new technologies arise.

• CCM – Solution Architect: “The Customer Communication Management - Solution Architect’s (CCM-SA) role is to plan, coordinate, architect, and supervise activities related to the development of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions related to CCM as required to meet the business requirements of the organization. The Solution Architect discipline defines the application architecture for Ally’s leading auto business focusing on the mapping of IT capabilities to business needs. The focus is on defining the relationships, flows and implementation of business (processes/activities/functions, information), applications, data and technology in the organization and the transitional process necessary for implementing technology in response to changing business needs.”
• Infrastructure Architect: “Provide Infrastructure Architecture assistance, guidance and governance to project teams to ensure proper architecture standards are followed and, when necessary, identify and develop new standards for implementation.”
• Systems Engineering Senior “Engineer, test, and integrate high availability Microsoft Exchange Enterprise solution - Test and Document service pack and code updates to Exchange - Participate in architecting new versions of Exchange infrastructure - Maintain Exchange development lab and QA infrastructure . OS patches, Supporting component patches, Exchange patches and configuration changes - Provide 3rd level support - troubleshoot and resolve operations issues escalated by L2 operations team.”
