Vietnam Veteran's Corn Roast Is A Fair Goer Favorite For Over 20 Years At The Plymouth Fall Festival

The Vietnam Vets have been doing a corn roast for over 20 years at the Fall Festival, and it is a favorite food destination every year.

The annual Plymouth Fall Festival is this weekend, and the Plymouth-Canton Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 528 are a big part of it. VVA Chapter 528 & the VFW Post 6695 are sponsoring the Fall Festival Car Show on Saturday & Sunday, and the Vietnam Veterans are also doing their much anticipated annual Fall Festival Corn Roast on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They have been doing this corn roast for over 20 years, and make no mistake, it is popular.

Fall Festival Chairman, Bob Lamoureux indicated to me, that he has already been approached by a gentleman asking if the vets are going to be selling corn this year. He assured him that they are, and the man walked away happy. Like I said, this is a very popular tent, among a throng of food tents.

Our veterans will also have their merchandise table with tons of great patriotic merchandise for sale. Everything from shirts & hats, to can coolers, pins, and even a Dog Tag machine. If it’s cool, and it’s patriotic, it’s there. Go browse the table, and I guarantee that you will find something cool to take home with you.

An ice cold pop-------------------$1.00

An ice cold bottle of water------ .50

Our vets will be cooking up the corn from 11:00 AM until 11:00 PM on Friday & Saturday, and they will be cooking up the corn from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM on Sunday.

This is a big event for our Vets, and it takes a ton of work from a lot of people to put this thing on for a whole weekend. Please stop by their tent right by Kellogg Park, enjoy a hot buttered ear of corn & a cold drink, and maybe tell em “Thank You” for their service to our country, and all the hard work they do at the Fall Festival as well...
