Watch This Amazing, Yet 'Arresting,' Marriage Proposal

A Royal Oak man worked with police to replicate a traffic stop that had occurred two years before on his first date with his now bride-to-be

Two years ago, a Royal Oak couple were on their first date – the start of something wonderful, despite a traffic stop that marred it.

That was April 17, 2013.

Fast-forward two years later on the exact same date. Once again, the lights in the rearview mirror told the gentleman to stop.

But instead of a ticket, he got the answer “yes” to his marriage proposal.

In the video, Royal Oak police officers said the groom-to-be put a great deal of thought and planning into the arresting proposal. Watch the video below.
