Wayne County Opens One-Stop Shop for Floods of 2014 Assistance

On-site, walk-in assistance services are available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Aug. 23.

WayWayne County, in partnership with the State of Michigan and local support agencies, will be opening Multi-Agency Resource Centers (MARCs) over the next three days.

The purpose of a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) is to provide a “one stop shop” for citizens to ask questions, gather information and find help that will assist in moving forward in their recovery efforts.

In addition to the Wayne County Department of Public Health, representatives will be present from the State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the State Bureau of Insurance as well as the American Red Cross, Salvation Army and other local support agencies.
