Ana Karina arrived in Dexter, Michigan in May. She comes from Mexico and is 21 years old. Ana first explored the idea of becoming an au pair because she enjoys working with children. She applied because of the Cultural Exchange aspect of the job. She was excited about the opportunity to improve her English as well as experience life in an American family.
Ana has already become very well integrated into her host family's household. She cares for 3 children ages, 13, 6 and 2. She enjoys taking them to the pool and the library and has become quite good at playing dress-up and dancing.
After Ana completes her au pair year she'd like to return to school to earn a master's degree. She also will like to continue travelling the world!
We are so fortunate to have Ana as a part of our au pair group and really look forward to getting to know her better over the next year.
