Wilcox Consignment Clearing Store as it Prepares for Move

Plymouth retailer headed to Dearborn, is clearing product during Art in the Park weekend.

Plymouth's is packing it up.

The business won't be going far, though; it plans a move to Dearborn later this year.

The store currently is selling all of its merchandise at a reduced price to lessen the burden of the move, owner Aida Wilcox said.

"Thank to all my customers," Wilcox said. "I hope to see them around because I still live in town."

Wilcox said the store hasn't decided on a location in Dearborn yet, and she said she will take time much-needed time off before making the move.

The store has been at 865 Wing Street in downtown Plymouth for for more than two years, Wilcox said.

Customers wishing to make one last visit to the store can stop in this weekend during the adjacent Art in the Park festivities for clearance prices on everything in the store, Wilcox said.

Cynthia Levin of Huntington Woods, a bead jewelry vendor who sold works at Wilcox Consignment, said she hopes to follow the store owners to Dearborn and sell at the new location when it opens.
