Gensheimer took home the title of "Senior of the Meet" with spectacular first-place finishes in the 100 yard freestyle, 50 yard freestyle, and 400 yard freestyle relay.
Gensheimer won last season's division race in the 50 free, but he went into the race this year after finishing second in the preliminary round Wednesday to the Lakers' junior Andrew Jacob. First-year head coach Brian McNeff said that that finish put a chip on Gensheimer's shoulder.

"He had won just about every meet in the 50 and 100 and I think he was a little upset that he wasn't ranked first going in," said McNeff. "I told him, that's going to be huge if we win those races, and he stepped up."
Seniors Matt Provenza and David Olson joined Gensheimer and Borregard in the relay victory. Borregard also finished first in the 100 back and the 200 individual medley.
