Explore the Great Estate This Summer
Meadow Brook Hall offers a variety of special tours

Visitors to Meadow Brook Hall this summer will have several tour options to explore the National Historic Landmark.
Learn more about the 1,500 acre country estate on the newly expanded ESTATE WALKING TOUR. This guided tour will take you around the gardens and grounds, past numerous outbuildings and into Knole Cottage (the playhouse of Frances Dodge) and Danny Dodge's cabin. Learn the history of Meadow Brook’s landscape and see many of the beautifully manicured gardens. New this summer, admission also includes entrance to the exhibit: The Dodge Brothers: Detroit’s Automotive Geniuses, celebrating the founding of the Dodge Brothers Motor Car Company. Visitors will learn how the Meadow Brook Estate grounds were significant to the success of the Dodge Brothers first automobile and gain insight into the lives and work of the Dodge Brothers through family heirlooms, original photographs, tool kits and dealer memorabilia.
Guests will also have the opportunity to tour rarely seen areas of Meadow Brook Hall on the BEHIND-THE-SCENES TOUR. This guided tour will take you through the bathrooms, closets and children’s playrooms that are not usually open to the public. Visitors will also learn about how the staff lived and worked while they explore the mansion’s staff wing.
