Fall used booksale set for Friends of Rochester Hills Public Library

Ever wonder how to get something done?

Thanks to a generous donation, the Friends of the Rochester Hills Public Library’s Fall used book sale has an unusually large selection of “How To” books on how to draw and how to paint along with instruction books on sculpture, pottery, stained glass, and other crafts. Also donated were lots of woodworking books.

This is in addition to the usual fine selection of over 30,000 books, both fiction and non-fiction, along with DVDs, CDs, audio books, puzzles and games.

The event is on the second floor used book room at the main library at 500 Olde Towne Road in downtown Rochester. It opens with a pre-sale for members of the Friends of the RHPL on Wednesday, Oct. 19, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Memberships may be purchased or renewed at the door. The sale is open to the public on:

Thursday, Oct. 20 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 21 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 22 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sunday Oct 23 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Sunday is Bag Day; all you can fit in a paper grocery bag for $5.
