For Kids Around Rochester, May Saturdays are For Catching and Hitting

Around Rochester today — as on every Saturday this spring — children will be on fields, wearing cleats, playing the game and just having fun.

For the parents, it's a rite of passage of sorts: They are coaches and cheerleaders, volunteering their time, rain or shine. For the children, it's all about learning that whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game that counts.

This is the first in a series of Saturday sports video reports. Today we take a look at Rochester Hills Little League, which began its season April 30 and continues through June.
