Founder's Day Event Honors More Than 60 School Volunteers

Rochester PTA Council awards volunteers from each school during annual event.

More than 60 parents, teachers and community leaders representing all of were honored Tuesday night at the annual Founder's Day event sponsored by the Rochester PTA Council.

Superintendent David Pruneau received a special award during the event — the Michigan PTSA Honorary Life Membership Award.

Distinguished Service Awards went to Francine Heatley, Kim Williams and Annette Testa-Young. Robin Ingram received the PTA Council Member of the Year award. The Schultz Leadership Award was awarded to Michael Behrmann.
