Golden and VanRaaphorst Seek to Unseat McMillin This Year

The two candidates will square off for the Democratic nomination in August.

An Oakland Township businesswoman and a Rochester Hills doctor are two Democratic candidates vying for a shot at the 45th District House of Representatives seat held by Republican Tom McMillin.

They will face off in an Aug. 7 primary.

Joanna VanRaaphorst has a background in sales and marketing and is an active volunteer in several community organizations. This is her first campaign. Read about .
