HAVEN Oakland County Hosts Annual Resilience Gala Supporting Survivors
HAVEN will host its annual Resilience Gala: BRIDGING THE GAP & BUILDING CONNECTIONS on May 12th at Shepherd's Hollow Golf Club in Clarkston.
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and your media coverage is requested to help share the story of HAVEN’s work in Oakland County.
In addition to several events to raise awareness for Sexual Assault Awareness Month, HAVEN is preparing for its annual Resilience Gala. Media is invited to attend and we would love to coordinate an interview in the coming weeks to talk about the importance of support, prevention and building bridges for survivors of intimate partner violence in Metro Detroit.
HAVEN Oakland County hosts annual Resilience Gala supporting survivors of intimate partner violence HAVEN will host its annual Resilience Gala: BRIDGING THE GAP & BUILDING CONNECTIONS on May 12, 2022 at Shepherd’s Hollow Golf Club in Clarkston.
Survivors will share their stories of hope and resilience while guests enjoy an evening of live music and entertainment, silent and live auctions and a seated dinner.
HAVEN is Oakland County’s only agency offering comprehensive services for survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault, serves people who take an enormous risk—the risk to move themselves and their children away from everything they know. The transition out of domestic violence is unimaginably painful. Nevertheless, a step through HAVEN’s doors is a step towards safety and a radiant future full of strength and serenity.
The annual Resilience Gala is HAVEN’s largest fundraiser, bringing in over $300,000 for critical & necessary services. HAVEN leadership, volunteers and survivors are looking forward to seeing everyone in-person to support survivors and raise awareness!
