Parade Road Closings, Detours
How to get to the Hometown Christmas Parade — and how to avoid it.

In Rochester today, you'll likely either embrace or run away from the .
The attached map details the road closings and detours. Here's what we know about the traffic:
- Tienken Road between Rochester Road and (the staging area for the parade) will close at 1 p.m.
- Rochester Road between Tienken and Avon roads will be closed at 1:15 p.m.
- Walton/University Drive east of Livernois will be closed at 1:15 p.m.
- Side streets connecting to the parade route will be barricaded at 1:15 p.m. Those include West Third Street and Walnut Street. There is also no parking on Northwood near Stoney Creek.
- All roads are expected to be reopened by 4:30 p.m.
- There is a shuttle running from Chase Bank on Walton Boulevard near Livernois to the downtown Chase Bank location at Pine and Fourth streets from 12:15-4:50 p.m.
