Rochester Hills Council Approves $1.8M Land Purchase
The goal of the purchase is to expand and improve amenities at the Pine Trace golf course in Rochester Hills.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Rochester Hills councilmembers unanimously approved a $1.8 million land purchase to expand and improve amenities at Pine Trace golf course during a Monday night meeting.
The city will buy 7.09 acres located at 3308 W. South Blvd. to add to currently owned city property that is leased by the Pine Trace Golf Club.
"To expand that footprint, to give an opportunity to perhaps augment or improve the amenities over there is a win-win all the way around." Councilman David Walker "I'm very excited about this opportunity."

There were no discussions or public comment on any specific upgrades or renovations.
"I think it's a wonderful opportunity...to develop this little area, to put it together with the area we already have with Pine Trace, and to just offer so additional opportunities that will lie and wait on this for our residents," Councilwoman Carol Morlan said.
