Rochester Invitational Baseball Tournament Begins Today

Rochester High School and Stoney Creek High School are co-hosting a tournament to kick off baseball season.

Finally, it's time to play ball!

Rochester High School and Stoney Creek High School are co-hosting the Rochester Invitational Tournament to kick off their varsity baseball seasons.

They are paired in separate pools while tournament seeding is decided, but there could possibly be a crosstown match-up.

Rochester High School is in Pool A with Royal Oak High School, Waterford Mott High School and Anchor Bay High School.

Stoney Creek High School is in Pool B with Bishop Foley High School, Brandon High School and Southfield Lathrup High School.

Seeding Games: (Thursday, April 7)

  • Waterford Mott vs. Rochester, 9 a.m. at Stoney Creek High School
  • Royal Oak vs. Anchor Bay, 11 a.m. at Stoney Creek High School
  • Brandon vs. Stoney Creek, 9 a.m. at Stoney Creek High School
  • Bishop Foley vs. Lathrup, 11 a.m. at Stoney Creek High School

First Round: (Thursday, April 7)

  • *Game 1: Pool A #1 vs. Pool B #4, 1 p.m. at Rochester High School
  • Game 2: Pool B #1 vs. Pool A #4, 1 p.m. at Stoney Creek High School
  • *Game 3: Pool A #2 vs. Pool B #3, 3 p.m. at Rochester High School
  • Game 4: Pool B #2 vs. Pool A #3, 3 p.m. at Stoney Creek High School

Consolation Bracket: (Saturday, April 9)

  • Game 5: Game 3 Loser vs. Game 2 Loser, 9 a.m. at Rochester High School
