Rochester Man Arrested In Oakland University Stabbing: Police
Police are still looking for a second suspect.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — An 18-year-old Rochester man was arrested in connection with a stabbing at Oakland University last week, according to police.
Oakland University Police Chief Mark Gordon said the arrest happened Tuesday during a traffic stop in Rochester. He said the suspect is expected to be charged with intent to murder.
Police are still looking for a second suspect. They described him as a man in his late 20s standing about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with chin-length dreadlocks.

The incident happened at 8:15 p.m. last Thursday at the Van Wagoner House on campus where officers found an 18-year-old Rochester man suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to police.
Gordon said the man was taken to a nearby hospital where he is recovering from his injuries.

Two men were seen leaving the area in a dark-colored SUV after the stabbing, according to police.
Investigators believe the stabbing happened during a fight and was a targeted attack. The suspects and victims are not residents or students at Oakland University. They were visting friends on campus when the incident happened.
Gordon said there is no continuing or ongoing threat to the Oakland University community.
