Stoney, Rochester, Adams to Compete Today at Cheer District Competition

Competitive cheer teams from three Rochester high schools compete today in Lake Orion for a chance to advance to next weekend's regional competition.

Rochester Patch will cover the district competition beginning at 11. , last year's state champion team, took first place last weekend in the Oakland Activities Association Red Division. They will compete against — which holds records for the most state titles and the most consecutive titles — and . "There are so many good teams — it could be anyone's day," said Stoney Creek coach Tricia Williams, who has coached at the school since it opened in 2002.
