Viewfinder: 50 Adults Compete in Rochester Tennis Tournament

The adult play in the Greater Rochester Open Tennis Tournament, presented by began Wednesday night and will run through Saturday at .
The junior tournament will begin Monday and run through Wednesday. About 50 adults are competing. Jerry Murphy, who heads the event, said he expects 50-75 juniors to participate. Many players have played in the competition in the past, most are local.
This is the 35th year of the tournament.

"Friday and Saturday will be exciting as we get into the finals," Murphy said. "It's a fun tournament."
The next set of matches kicks off at 6 p.m. tonight, weather permitting.
