Hearing will give the public a voice in how federal and state dollars for senior services are spent in the region. Seniors, family caregivers and other interested parties will have a chance to review and comment on the Area Agency on Aging 1-B's Area Implementation Plan for fiscal Year 2015. The plan outlines how federal and state funds will be spent in the six-county region that the agency serves, which includes Oakland. Services include Meals on Wheels, adult day care service and in-home care.
People can attend the hearing in person or call in, using a telephone conference line, at 641-715-3840. The access code for the
conference line is 1042980#. For more information on the plan or hearing, contact Amanda D’Angelo at 248-262-1287.
