Acting Out Kids Community Theater

ACTING OUT KIDS COMMUNITY THEATER:

Friday Night Drop-In Events:

Using fun interactive games and activities, kids (ages 9-18) will learn acting and improvisation skills. Through acting and improvisation, kids will learn real life skills such as public speaking, social interaction, building confidence, taking initiative, expressing ideas, being creative and working together as a team. Kids will learn these skills while also having fun in a safe, friendly and casual environment.

Our next two drop-in events will be on Friday, June 13 and Friday, June 27 from 7:00-9:00pm in the lower level of the Clawson United Methodist Church (205 N. Main St.).  The fee for each drop-in event is $2.00 per child and includes light refreshments.

Workshops, Field Trips and Community Events:

Every month we will also have workshops, field trips and participate in a variety of community events. These activities are optional, but in order to participate, a child must have attended at least one drop-in event or be a part of the production.  Registration and permission forms must also be completed and turned in before a child will be allowed to participate in these additional activities.  There may be a separate cost for some workshops and field trips.  Costs will vary, depending on the activity.

Teens and adult volunteers are Needed!

For our summer production, we will need teens (ages 13 and up) and adults to help out in any capacity (assistant director, stage manager, assistant stage managers, props, costumes, set building, publicity, ticket sales, parties, etc.).
