Author and Musician Eddie Baranek to visit Royal Oak Public Library

Join local musician and author Eddie Baranek on Saturday, May 31 at 2:00 pm in the Friends Auditorium as he performs and reads from his book, Taken Alive: The Sights’ Rock and Roll Tour Diary. This is a narration of his time touring the U.S. and Europe with his band in 2012. It’s filled with colorful anecdotes and thoughts on the power of music in our culture.

Eddie Baranek is visiting ROPL as part of the Library of Michigan’s “2014 Michigan Notable Authors Tour.” Taken Alive was chosen as a 2014 Michigan Notable Book.
