Dairy Queen’s Free Cone Day March 20 benefits Beaumont Children's

For every cone Dairy Queen serves on Free Cone Day, guests are invited to make a donation to benefit Beaumont Children's.


It's never too cold for ice cream, especially free ice cream. You can make a difference by enjoying a free Dairy Queen ice cream cone on March 20 to benefit Beaumont Children’s, a local affiliate of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

For every cone Dairy Queen serves on Free Cone Day, guests are invited to make a donation. All money raised will stay in Michigan. The fundraiser at participating Southeast Michigan Dairy Queen restaurants helps Beaumont’s programs and services for children.

"We are grateful to the Dairy Queen organization for their generous support extended to Beaumont Children's and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals,” said Brian Berman, M.D., pediatrician-in-chief of Beaumont Children’s. “Support like this helps us immeasurably in our mission to provide advanced care to the ones that matter most - the children and families of our community."

Beaumont Children’s is one of 170 pediatric medical centers across North America affiliated with the nonprofit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Since 1984, Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill restaurants across the United States have raised more than $100 million for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.

Beaumont Health

Beaumont Health is Michigan’s largest health care system and is most preferred for health care in Southeast Michigan, according to National Research Corp. survey data. The not-for-profit organization was created to provide patients with greater access to compassionate, extraordinary care, every day. Beaumont Health has a total net revenue of $4.7 billion and consists of eight hospitals with 3,429 beds, 145 outpatient sites, nearly 5,000 physicians, 38,000 employees and 3,500 volunteers.
