Royal Oak Resident Reports B&E at Home: Blotter

A homeowner in the 200 block of Helene told Royal Oak police that someone broke into his home between 5:30 p.m. Nov. 12 and 5 p.m. Nov. 18.

The intruder gained entrance by breaking the glass on a door in the back of the home. Several items were disturbed, but nothing appeared to have been stolen, the man said.

Larceny from Automobile

400 block of Edgeworth, 11-12-15 – 11-13-15, 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Complainant reported he parked his 2007 Cadillac STS in front of his residence. Upon return to his vehicle, he discovered an unknown suspect had stolen the catalytic converter. 15-42528

2600 block of Rochester Rd. 11-17-15 – 11-18-15, 7:30 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.: Complainant reported she parked her car in a parking lot. Upon return to her vehicle, she discovered an unknown suspect had entered her vehicle and stole a laptop computer.15-43016

32955 Woodward Ave. (Mt. Chalet), 11-17-15, 11:10 p.m. - 11:35 p.m.: Complainants reported they parked their vehicles in the business parking lot. When they returned, they discovered an unknown suspect had broken out the front passenger windows of both vehicles and stole miscellaneous items. 15-42971

Malicious Destruction of Property

2000 block of N. Vermont, 11-14-15 – 11-15-15, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Complainant reported he parked his car in front of his residence. Upon return to his vehicle, he discovered an unknown suspect had damaged the door lock and cracked the windshield. 15-42703
