No Fireworks Factory in My Neighborhood!!

Some of you may know that the planning commission will be seeing a proposal for a “Firework Factory” on Campbell and Lincoln. I can not say this more clearly – I DO NOT WANT THIS TYPE OF BUSINESS IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD. I have been a resident of Royal Oak for over ten years, and have invested $100’s of thousands of dollars to redevelop my home and my neighborhood. I do this because I love our town, but also because I see it as an investment in a community where I would like to raise my children and where there is an investment upside.

I see no upside in this establishment. In fact I only see this establishment diminishing our neighborhood brand, and drawing in more petty crime and vandalism into our neighborhood. Not to mention, I DO NOT  want my son to be able by artillery shells within walking distance of my home, nor do I want any other kids in my neighborhood to be able to do so.

I look forward to your response, and hope that you will take into consideration my concerns and halt and progress on this project.
