Royal Oak Resident Reports Theft of Large TV, Other Items
Also on the blotter: A church worker reported the theft of her purse, and another resident reported the theft of a motorcycle.

ROYAL OAK, MI — Another Royal Oak resident reported a break-in at his residence and the theft of a large, 65-inch Samsung television, a Dell laptop computer, several watches, a handgun, and miscellaneous coins, jewelry, and men’s clothing.
Sometime between 12:20 p.m. Sept. 2 and 6 a.m. Sept. 3, the suspect gained entry to the residence on the 700 block of Gainsborough by forcing open the rear door of the residence, according to the Royal Oak Police Department blotter report for the week of Sept. 1-8.

Larceny
300 block of W. Seventh (First United Methodist Church), 9-4-16, 1:33 p.m.: Complainant reported she left her purse under a desk in an office. When she returned she discovered an unknown suspect entered the unsecured area and stole her purse. 16-31546

Unlawfully Driving Away an Automobile
4060 block of W. Thirteen Mile, 8-28-16 – 9-01-16, 10:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Complainant reported he parked his black 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX600 motorcycle in the northwest section of the apartment complex parking lot. When he returned he discovered an unknown suspect had stolen his motorcycle. 16-31106
Larceny from an Automobile
W. Ten Mile and Main Street, 9-2-16, 12:00 a.m.: Complainant reported she parked her car near Grant Park. When she returned she discovered an unknown suspect had entered her unlocked vehicle and stole diamond earrings, a diamond ring, and a watch. 16-31810
