Ike yearbook named among nation's best
2012 Espirit de Corps is one of 56 nationwide named a Pacemaker Finalist by the National Scholastic Press Association.

Eisenhower High School recently earned a variety of top yearbook awards and critiques for its 2012 "Over It" themed yearbook, including being named as a finalist for the nation's most prestigious award of journalistic excellence.
Eisenhower's Espirit de Corps was recently one of 56 yearbooks across the nation to be named a Pacemaker Finalist by the National Scholastic Press Association. This is on top of four other state and national honors for the 2012 yearbook.
"The 2012 yearbook staff worked diligently on the school's first spring delivery yearbook and produced the most award-winning and superior product the school has even seen," yearbook and newspaper adviser Erica Kincannon said. "I'm so proud of the theme development by the editorial staff and the quality product the entire staff completed. While the overarching goal is to create a yearbook the student body will enjoy, it's always nice for the book to be recognized state and nationally because it means we're following and exceeding journalistic standards."
