UCS Foundation presents Arts & Idols Scholarship Gala on May 30

Since its inception, the Arts & Idols Gala has raised $90,000 for Superintendent's Scholarship Fund

The Utica Community Schools Foundation for Educational Excellence is pleased to present its fifth annual Arts & Idols Scholarship Gala at 6 p.m. on May 30 at The Palazzo Grande Banquet and Event Center in Shelby Township.

Patrons at the Arts & Idols Scholarship Gala will have the chance to enjoy talented area singers in a format based on the popular "American Idol" television show while raising funds for the Utica Community Schools Superintendent's Scholarship Fund. The event features dinner, silent and live art auctions of student and faculty art work and the chance to rub elbows with current and future celebrities, culminating in the final competition among "Idols" finalists.

Since its inception, the Arts & Idols Gala has raised $90,000 for UCS graduates to continue their education.

The Arts & Idols Gala is sponsored by the Utica Community Schools Foundation for Educational Excellence and The Palazzo Grande.
