2 Dead In Separate Macomb County Crashes Within 24 Hours: Police
Two people were people and another person was critically injured in two separate crashes in Warren within 24 hours, according to police.
WARREN, MI — Two people were people and another person was critically injured in two separate crashes in Warren within 24 hours, according to police.
The first crash happened around 11 p.m. Saturday night near Groesbeck and 11 Mile Road where a man was ejected from a Ford Escape in a single-vehicle crash, according to police.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, according to police.

No further details were released by police as they continue investigating the crash.
The second crash happened at 3:40 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of 10 Mile and Ryan roads where two Honda's collided, according to police.

The first Honda, which had two people inside, was moving north on Ryan through the 10 Mile intersection where it slammed into a second Honda that was turning left into the parking lot of a Tim Hortons coffee shop, according to police.
A man was killed in that crash and another person was taken to a nearby hospital and listed in critical condition, according to police.
Police did not identify the victims in the crash. Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
No further details were released by police as they continue investigating the crash.
"It is unfortunate when somebody loses their life in a traffic crash. The fact that there have been two fatal crashes within 24 hours is very remarkable," Warren Police Commissioner William Dwyer said. "Investigators will also be working to determine what happened last night on Groesbeck which again, is a horrible tragedy. Our condolences go out to all the families affected by these horrible incidents."
