Edible Arrangements in Metro Detroit kicks off 3rd annual Random Acts of Happiness to recognize people for their good deeds; Visit any of the 15 local Edible Arrangements retail stores between August 24 through September 16 to submit a nomination
DETROIT, Mich. – Mowing the lawn for a friend who has been ill; helping prepare a meal at a homeless shelter; or driving a neighbor to an appointment, are just a few examples of good deeds that occur daily in Metro Detroit. Often, the recipients of these good deeds would like to acknowledge these individuals, but don’t know how.
Local residents have the perfect opportunity as Edible Arrangements Metro Detroit Group stores kick off -- for the third straight year -- Random Acts of Happiness, beginning Saturday, August 24 and running through Monday, September 16.

People are invited to visit any of the 15 Edible Arrangements area retail stores to complete a nomination form to recognize a local resident for their selfless good deeds. They also can download a copy of the nomination form from the Edible Arrangements Metro Detroit Group Facebook page, www.facebook.com/EdibleArrangementsMetroDetroitGroup and drop it off at any of the participating stores, or email the nomination form to: eaofmetrodetroit@gmail.com.

Be part of the kick off and visit Edible Arrangements stores from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 24 to complete a nomination and sample fresh fruit.
Edible Arrangements participating stores include the locations in Ann Arbor, Berkley, Brighton, Dearborn Heights, Detroit, Farmington, Grosse Pointe, Lake Orion, New Baltimore, Plymouth, Shelby Township, Sterling Heights, Troy, West Bloomfield and Wyandotte.
Nominations will be reviewed by the Edible Arrangements Metro Detroit Group retail stores. The 15 nominees chosen (one from each store) and each will be awarded a fresh fruit arrangement the week of September 23.
“We want the public to tell us the stories of people they feel deserve to be recognized for their unselfish good deeds which brought happiness to someone else,” said Vikki Hardy Brown, President, Edible Arrangements Metro Detroit Group. “We know people are making a positive impact and doing Random Acts of Happiness each day. We encourage people to pass it on and tell their family, friends and colleagues to submit nominations as well.”
